5 months agoA beautiful place with a fantastic view where my friends and I enjoyed a summer dinner with delicious traditional Greek dishes. It was my first time eating moussaca, and it was delicious. I still remember the taste.

9 months agoBeautiful views of the sunset from the upstairs! I will dare to say that the views are more beautiful than in Oia. The food is great and the atmosphere is authentic! There was a guy playing Greek live music. The staff are great and treated us with free French fries for my 9 year girl!

8 months agoThe end of a great meal at Santorinia Tavern. A good find thanks to our accidental driver - after wandering around the streets for a while not intending to get a driver to travel outside the town a driver magically appeared and we changed our mind. On the way back we asked where for lunch and he recommended this place. A good choice, amazing view, good food and vino.

11 months agoWe were served by a waiter at Santorini Tavern who wore a fairy godmother Cosmo pin on his chest—and honestly, it suited him perfectly! He truly looked and acted the part—friendly, cheerful, and full of good vibes. HAHA! ( 5 star service from him) He provided great service and recommended the orzo pasta, which turned out to be the highlight of our meal. It was honestly one of the best pastas I’ve ever had—simple yet packed with flavour, and the texture was unique and delightful. I had never tried orzo pasta before, and it was a wonderful surprise. As for the rest of the food: the calamari wasn’t quite as fresh or crispy as we hoped—it tasted a bit like it came from frozen, and we’ve definitely had better elsewhere. The pita bread, on the other hand, was excellent—crispy, flavourful, and so addictive. The fish was decent and fresh, though nothing particularly outstanding. The moussaka was also tasty and satisfying. All in all, the service really stood out and made our visit enjoyable—especially thanks to our fairy godmother waiter and that magical orzo pasta!

7 months agoThe best moussaka and lamb chops I’ve ever had (even if I usually don’t eat lamb chops). The waiters take their time, but they’re always friendly and make sure everything is good.
