a month agoWithout a doubt, this was the best hidden gem we discovered in Santorini. Perched above the caldera, the taverna offers a breathtaking view of the caldera and an unobstructed view of the sunset that rivals some of the island’s most famous (and crowded) spots. Unfortunately, it was quite windy during our visit, so we couldn’t sit outside on the terrace as planned. However, that did nothing to diminish the experience. The warm hospitality of this family-run business immediately made us feel at home, and the atmosphere inside was just as charming and authentic. The food was exceptional. The fish was incredibly fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of flavour. Every dish was prepared with care and quality ingredients, making it easily the best dinner we had in Santorini. To make things even better, the prices were more than reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food and the stunning location. If you're looking for an authentic Santorini experience away from the tourist crowds, this place is an absolute must-visit. Outstanding food, genuine hospitality, spectacular caldera views, and an unforgettable sunset — everything you could hope for from a Greek taverna. We will definitely return. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

a month agoWe stayed in the Akrotiri area and were recommended by the driver and hotel to have dinner here. Lovely people, service was incredible and personal. Food is amazing - salad and rice is included with every fresh fish. Selecting your fish/seafood from the available catch is really cool. They will weight it and let you know the price before ordering. This is a family business and happy to support them in what they do.

2 months agoWe were staying just down the road from Giorgaros, so decided to try it! We were not disappointed, it was a lovely, cosy family-run restaurant with an amazing view. The staff were all really friendly and attentive and we loved chatting to them! The food was amazing too, we loved the mom’s pie, the amazing lobster spaghetti, and of course the house wine. We came back to visit a second time and tried some red snapper which was also amazing! We wish we had time to visit again. We wish you all the best, and thank you so much! Definitely worth visiting here, we would 100% recommend. ☺️

3 months agoMy husband and I came here for dinner and it was outstanding . We loved being able to choose our fish from the ice box and it was cooked perfectly . We had grilled octopus, grouper, and saganaki. The dessert was fantastic and a perfect compliment to our meal. The restaurant is family owned and run and the daughter and son of the owners were so friendly and we loved learning some history from them and chatting with them! Will definitely go back.

2 months agoGuys I had this restaurant marked in my to eat list before I come to Santorini. The location is a bit off from Fira and ohia but trust me the seafood here is legit !!! Must try and order the psarosoupa Greek style island fish soup. (We been recommend this dish by the lighthouse mini mart lady) and this is the best highlight of our whole island trip. Prices show on the menu is per kg (don’t be scared) The waitress is very friendly bring us to their kitchen and proudly show me all their fresh caught guarantee their freshest taste of the day from the Aegean Sea. I had the local scorpion fish did freshly with umami bomb ! Natural sweetness from the caught itself. Mind blowing. One dish itself is super filling. Well this may not be very Instagram worthy but damn delicious. Not mentioned that you have one of the best sunset spot too in the island while enjoying your good food. Please come here when you visit Santorini !
