What a wonderful place ! People say that the best sunset views are from the lighthouse or the Oia but we had an amazing dinner and the sunset was spectacular over the whole caldera . Food was delicious and the whole team Yannis the maitre D’ , Sofia and Dimitri were really great very attentive and accommodating. We really recommend this restaurant. Very elegant nicely appointed and with a good vibe. You will not be disappointed.

We were looking for a nice place to eat after our tour to Akrotiri as part of our cruise. We saw this spot and it looked nice with a great view. We figured it was worth the extra price to have such a great view while enjoying a nice meal. It was so much more! Yes, the view is incredible. You look right down on the port and the caldera and you can see the other islands of the former "circle" that made up Thera. And you get a wonderful breeze off the sea that keeps it extra comfortable. Yet that's still just the start. The food and drink were too notch. From the bread and dips...to the wine...to the Pappardelle Bolognese my daughter had or the Salmon Linguine I had or my wife's Super food Salad. All was just fantastic! And the service...incredible! One table had a young child (about 1 year old) that was getting fussy. The owner came over, took the child so the parents could eat, and entertained him through their whole meal. That child was having a wonderful time, the parents had a great meal, and we all were entertained instead of distracted. Top marks all around!

From the moment we walked in, we knew we were in for something special. The ambiance was absolutely perfect — view of the Caldera, thoughtfully curated décor, and a welcoming atmosphere that made us feel instantly at ease. The food? Incredible. Every dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. It’s clear the kitchen takes pride in their craft, and every bite reflected that passion. What truly set this experience apart, though, was the service. George and Alex, were outstanding. They went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of, striking the perfect balance between professionalism and genuine hospitality. It’s rare to come across staff who makes you feel like a valued guest from start to finish — George and Alex absolutely nailed it. If you’re looking for exceptional food, impeccable service, amazing sunset views, and an ambiance that hits all the right notes, this is your spot. We highly recommend it!

We arrived early for a meal and drinks and the sunset view. All the tables at the front were reserved except one which had a family of 5 seated. Other than that we were it.We inquired if we could sit at one of the front tables but they told us not possible as they were all reserved. We were seated in the middle where we could still enjoy the view...we waited for 10 minutes until we could wave a waiter to order our drinks and meal which we all shared. Our drinks came but still nobody was at the front tables. Our meals came...and still nobody at the front tables. We finished our food and ordered 2 simple drinks while the sun set. Three ladies came in and were shown to a front table but talked and ignored the setting sun. They ordered an entre and left. We were still there and slowly they let others choose a table at the front without a reservation... We were not getting any real attention and had to again wave down a waiter to pay the bill. A little later a waiter came on his phone and said our simple meals were 135 euro but gave us no bill. We were a little shocked when the same waiter asked us for a service fee!!! The meal was very ordinary, the service was minimal, if any and if anything we felt a little ignored. The restaurant itself was nice but the service let them down. It would be nice to see the bill also and for them not to water down their drinks with full glasses of ice.

What you see on the photo is 30 euro portion of grilled octopus. Before you ask - no, it wasnt good. It was very rough and rubbery. The amount you get is not listed in the menu. Everything is extremely overpriced and with 3 stuff members and an empty restaurant you still have trouble getting waiter’s attention in the restaurant. 90% of the pricing is just for the view wich you can get for free on nearby benches.
